Getting Started
About
ZoneFlow is a simple run tracking app for WatchOS focused on helping maintain a given heartrate zone without having to continuously check the display. It taps your wrist with single taps when below the target zone, and double taps when above. It is available on the app store here.
Compatibility
- Requires watchOS 10.5 or later
- Compatible with Apple Watch Series 4 and newer
Installation
- Download ZoneFlow from the App Store
- Open the app on your Apple Watch
- Choose a zone and start running!
Setting Up Your Heart Rate Zones
Manual Zone Configuration
ZoneFlow defaults to using automatic zones based on your age. To configure custom zones using your personal heart rate data:
- Tap the gear icon on the start screen
- Select the “Use Manual Zones” toggle
- Set minimum and maximum beats per minute for each zone
Troubleshooting
Heart Rate Tracking Issues
- Ensure watch is snug but comfortable
- Clean the heart rate sensor on your Apple Watch
- Restart the app and your watch
- Check battery level of your Apple Watch
Haptic Feedback Not Working
- Verify haptic feedback is enabled in app settings
- Check watch vibration settings
- Ensure watch is charged
- Restart the app

Nothing! Your data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers. We don’t even have servers!

Q: Can I use ZoneFlow without a cellular connection? A: Yes, the app works completely offline.
Q: How accurate is the heart rate tracking? A: ZoneFlow uses Apple Watch’s heart rate sensor and tracking.
Q: Can I export my training data? A: You may export your data with any app that accesses Apple Health data. Personally, I’m a fan of HealthFit.
